Body Work

At Jinny's Spa, our deep tissue massage is what we're known for. We target deeper layers of muscle tissue by using slow and focused techniques to address specific areas of chronic muscle tensions or nor sports injuries. Usually one or two areas receive deep tissue targeting while the rest of the most receives a firm massage. We use firm pressure and hot towels for our deep massage to help ensure our customers are relieved of pain and discomfort.

We also offer other services such as Shiatsu and Swedish Massages.

Tui Na

Tui Na, also known as trauma therapy, breaks down scar tissue to relax tendons and muscles and allows the blood and Qi to circulate in a proper way by removing blood stasis, which speeds up the healing process. Tui Na alters the energy level of the biological system and adjusts the bio-information of the body.

Tui Na helps to treat many disorders from soft tissue injuries to other kinds of ailments such as:

Stiff back and distention of shoulders
Frozen shoulder
Sore back
Sciatica
Aching muscles
Diarrhea
Constipation
Low energy
Stress-related symptoms or caused by emotional problems such as insomnia, headaches, and difficulty focusing.

Combining hot stones with a full body massage provides our customers with a very healing and effective experience. The hot stones expand the blood vessels, encouraging blood flow throughout the body. The hot stones also have a sedative effect that can relieve chronic pain, reduce stress and promote deep relaxation.

Benefits of hot stones include:

Foot Reflexology

Reflexology is a healing art. All parts of the body have a corresponding reflex point in the feet and hands. Foot reflexology is a science-based on the idea that there are zones and reflex points in the feet and hands that correspond to glands, organ parts, and body systems. The act of applying pressure using thumb, finger, and hand techniques to these areas results in reduced stress, which promotes physiological changes in the body.
